Three UWAP Poetry books shortlisted for the 2018 Mary Gilmore Award

We're delighted to announce that three out of the five shortlisted poetry books in the 2018 Mary Gilmore Award are UWAP Poetry titles. They are:

 

Flute of Milk by Susan Fealy

Rallying by Quinn Eades

Snake Like Charms by Amanda Joy

 

The Mary Gilmore Award is given to the best first book of poetry published in the previous year. It is conducted by the Association for the Study of Australian Literature (ASAL) and named after the writer Dame Mary Gilmore.
