UWA Publishing is excited to announce a new partnership with Affirm Press for sales representation after 18 years with NewSouth Books.
UWA Publishing (UWAP) will continue being distributed by Alliance Distribution Services (ADS). The new partnership between UWAP and Affirm will begin in May 2025.

UWA Publishing’s departure from NewSouth Books marks a significant shift, and while we will surely miss the strong partnership, we are grateful for the years of support and collaboration that helped elevate the press’s reputation and reach within the Australian literary community.

Booksellers should order all UWAP new releases which are scheduled for publication on or after 1st May 2025, as well as backlist orders from this date, via their Affirm Press sales rep. As UWAP will be staying at ADS warehouse there will be no stock transfer and Affirm Press will honour the same returns terms for titles previously sold in by NewSouth i.e. up to 12 months after the invoice date.
