UWA Publishing is pleased to share the news that two of our titles have been recognised in the 2025 Children's Book Council of Australia awards as Notables.
We wish to congratulate Raelke Grimmer who's debut young adult novel, White Noise, has been recognised in the Older Readers Notable list in the 2025 CBCA Book of the Year awards. We also wish to congratulation Cassy Polimeni and Hykie Breeze as their children's book Ella and the Amazing Frog Orchestra has been recognised in the Younger Readers Notable list in the 2025 CBCA Book of the Year awards.
The shortlist will be announced on 25 March 2025. We wish Raelke, Cassy and Hykie the best of luck and congratulate them on their achievement.
This marks the third longlisting for White Noise. Grimmer's novel has recently been longlisted in the 2025 Indie Book Awards and the ASLA DANZ Children's Book Awards.
