Submissions

UWA Publishing is currently accepting manuscripts of:

• scholarly works (accepted all year)

• children's manuscripts by First Nations authors and/or illustrators (accepted all year)

 

 

UWAP opens for general submissions usually one month of the year (there is no set month). When open for submissions, UWAP highly encourages writers who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, LGBTQIA+, gender diverse, living with a disability, and/or culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse to submit their manuscripts. Submissions may only be made electronically. We accept manuscripts via the Submittable website. You will receive an acknowledgement email via Submittable. While we endeavour to review submissions in a timely manner, this is not always possible. If you have not heard back from us after 3 months, please assume we are unable to move forward with your manuscript. Please check your junk mail folder during this time. Thank you for the opportunity to consider your work.
