UWAP Scholarly
UWAP Scholarly
Established in 2014, UWAP Scholarly is an imprint of UWA Publishing that publishes academic monographs in order to deliver dynamic research to both the university sector and the wider reading community. Our scholarly titles are characterised by lively writing and coherent arguments in the fields of humanities and social sciences, and natural sciences.
In a statement addressing the idea behind the scholarly imprint, UWA Publishing’s Director Terri-ann White explained that, “we have launched this imprint in response to a crisis of career-building currently facing Australian Humanities academics, to cope with the demand of academics and the limited publications opportunities today.”
UWAP Scholarly expands upon UWA Publishing’s current list, which covers a range of fiction and non-fiction.
