Laetitia Wilson

Laetitia Wilson, PhD, is Curator of HyperPrometheus and is a Perth-based independent curator, arts writer and academic. Since 2004 Wilson has researched and taught at the University of Western Australia, completed a doctorate in media and contemporary arts (2011), and developed and taught new art historical and theoretical units. Wilson has worked in a curatorial capacity at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery as coordinating curator for the SymbioticA exhibition Demonstrable (2015), as well as for the Perth International Arts Festival as co-curator of Theatres, held at the Western Australian Museum and Moana Project Space (2015). At the temporary art space Success in Fremantle, Wilson curated Chen Chieh-Jen: Lingchi – Echoes of a Historical Paragraph and Inanition: A Speculation on the End of Times (2016). Wilson has published both locally and further afield. She was art critic for the West Australian newspaper (2012–17) and is Weld Club curatorial consultant (2017–19).
