Joanna Wallfisch

Joanna is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, playing baritone ukulele, piano, flute, Indian shruti box, kalimba and melodica. Her music explores jazz, classical, art- song, folk and world music. Born in London to renowned violinist Elizabeth Wallfisch and cellist Raphael Wallfisch, Joanna studied first to be a painter and then a jazz singer, which took her to to New York City where she forged four critically acclaimed records of original music. She has performed at venues across the world, including The London Jazz Festival, Salisbury International Festival, Sundance Film Festival and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Joanna is now based in LA.
