Ian and Patricia Crawford
Ian Crawford was head of division of Human Studies at the Western Australian Museum.
He was involved in drafting legislation to protect Aboriginal sites and historic shipwrecks, and his previous publications include The Art of the Wandjina (Oxford University Press, 1968) and We Won the Victory: Aborigines and Outsiders on the North-West Coast of the Kimberley (Fremantle Arts Centre Press, 2001).
Patricia Crawford is a Professor of History at The University of Western Australia.
She has published extensively on early modern English and Australian history, including Women in Early Modern England (Oxford University Press, 1998) with Sara Mendelson, and Women as Australian Citizens: Underlying Histories (Melbourne University Press, 2001), edited jointly with Philippa Maddern.
