• Quentin Beresford 

    Dr Quentin Beresford teaches politics and public policy at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. Prior to this position, Dr Beresford was a senior policy officer in the Western Australian office of the Department of Premier and Cabinet. He has a strong back-ground, as former editor of Youth Studies, in youth policy and juvenile crime.

    Dr Beresford has written numerous books which discuss Australian public policy and Aboriginal affairs. These includeRites of Passage: Aboriginal Youth Crime and Justice (1996); Our State of Mind: Racial Planning and the Stolen Generations(1998) and the multi-award winning biography of Aboriginal leader Rob Riley, Rob Riley: An Aboriginal Leader’s Quest for Justice (2006).
