Keith Jacobs

Keith Jacobs as an Associate Professor in the School of Sociology and Social Work and Director of the Housing and Community Research Unit at the University of Tasmania.

Prior coming to Tasmania, Keith’s previous posts have included principal lecturer and subject leader in housing studies at the University of Westminster, principal policy officer for the London Borough of Newham and a housing manager for the London Borough of Hackney.

Keith has published widely on housing and urban policy issues and is the author of the Dynamics of Local Housing Policypublished by Ashgate Press (1999) and Social Constructionism in Housing Research (2004).
