Jeff Malpas

Jeff Malpas is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tasmania and Distinguished Visiting Professor at La Trobe University.

Known for his work pioneering contemporary philosophical research on the concept of place, Professor Malpas is also active in commenting on issues of contemporary ethics and politics in the Tasmanian and Australian media.

He has been awarded numerous grants and research fellowships and has been widely published.
