George Seddon

George Seddon is the author of Swan River Landscapes (UWA Press 1970) and Sense of Place(UWA Press 1972).

He is regarded as one of the world’s leading thinkers and writers on the environment and its future, and has been praised by noted environmental historian Joe Powell as ‘Nature’s champion’ and ‘one of the few academics with the capacity to reach the wider ‘green’ readership enjoyed by the environmentalist farmer-poet Eric Rolls and the poet Judith Wright’.
