Carolyn Harris Johnson

Carolyn Harris Johnson’s career as a social worker has spanned thirty years. She is currently based at the University of Western Australia and is involved in research into intimate partner homicide, homicide-suicide, filicide and familicide.

Carolyn devised and implemented the first Community Based Sex Offender Treatment Program in Western Australia and is co-author of the Columbus Project which is a program for differential case management of cases where there is child abuse and/or domestic violence in the Family Court of Western Australia.

In 2002, Carolyn won the Grace Vaughan Award for Excellence in Social Work in the Field of Social Justice.
