The Perth Festival Writers Weekend returns again this summer for weekend of books and great talks. Come along and see several UWA Publishing authors at events across the weekend.

 

UWAP authors Laurie Steed, Graham Akhurst, Daniel Juckes and past UWAP authors Michelle Johnston, Caitlin Maling and Stephen Scourfield will all be appearing at the festival.

 

Laurie Steed will be on the We Need You To Believe panel talking to Laura Jean McKay and Chemutai Glasheen (facilitated by Claire Nichols) about short story writing. This event is on Saturday 24 February 2024, 2pm at the Discovery Lounge, State Library of WA. Book your tickets here.

 

Graham Akhurst will be on the Younger, Stranger Tales panel talking to Madeline Te Whiu (facilitated by Michelle Johnston) about writing fiction witth mythological themes drawn from their own Indigenous identity. This event is on Sunday 25 February 2024, 3pm at the Theatre, State Library of WA. Book your tickets here.
