A century of change and challenge has been gathered into a book celebrating UWA student life since 1913.

If you attended UWA – or wish you had – here is a collection of anecdotes, reminiscences and quite a few facts to entertain you.

This 142-page book, Two & Sixpence: A Student Century, is published by the UWA Student Guild and edited by Patrick Cornish, a journalist who kicked off his career on the student newspaper, Pelican, almost 50 years ago.

Prosh, Guild Presidents past and Macca the Pig are all here. From the era of black-and-white photographs to the 21st century of Facebook and Twitter, it covers connections between the University and the hundreds of thousands who have graduated and had fun along the way.
